Before outdoor murals and Art Basel helped make Wynwood into the mecca of cutting edge cool in Miami there was Enriqueta’s, a down home Cuban eatery with “sabor.”
Now four months removed from an electrical fire that shut down patriarchJose Pla’s family business, the place is all smiles. Customers are walking in like family coming from out of town for a stay-over. A mechanic dressed in greys with the name Fabrece patched on his shirt peaks in through the take-out window.
