Wynwood’s III Points Festival Announces Artist Lineup

Article by Ciara LaVelle

The art will take over several venues around Wynwood, including Wynwood Cigar Company, home of the festival’s main stage. An art installation around the stage will incorporate 3D projection mapping, which involves 3D video somehow animating inanimate objects. We’re not totally sure what that’s all about, but it sounds trippy. There’ll also be a piece of performance art there titled “The Drive-In,” incorporating “movement, audio, and cars,” from artists Patricia Margarita Hernandez, Samantha Kruze, Ana Mendez, and Richard Vergez.

Gramps, Cafeina, and The Butcher Shop are among other venues scheduled to host art exhibits and/or installations.
