Miami Ad School is moving to Wywnood!
Founded 20 years ago in Miami Beach by Ron and Pippa Seichrist, Miami Ad School sprang from their imagination on how young, creative people should train for a career in advertising. The Seichrists have taken their decades of experience in the industry and created curriculum that incorporates real-world learning and doing. Within the past 20 years they have trained thousands of creatives, become the most awarded advertising school in the world and spread throughout the globe with 14 locations. Now the original location in Miami Beach is moving to Wynwood and they could not be more excited.

As I sat down with Pippa Seichrist, Co-Founder and President of Miami Ad School, she spoke about plans for the future and how perfect Wynwood was for a creative school with a diverse student body. The move was prompted by the changing dynamics in Miami Beach throughout the last few decades. It used to be the spot for artists – a haven for creatives, galleries and beautiful shoot locations. As Miami Beach became more of a flashy tourist destination, the artists migrated to areas like Wynwood. The transformation to this new art district has been amazing and it is the perfect fit for Miami Ad School.

The students and faculty will draw inspiration from all aspects of the neighborhood but they also want to be a part of it. Miami Ad School will become an integral part of the community, offering workshops for creatives and business owners. There will be various lengths of classes ranging from a couple of hours to one day a week for 3 months. Classes in writing, self promotion, illustration, graphic design, digital/interactive, photography/video, fine art and social media will be available to fit people’s needs. Of course the full-time programs that they are famous for will also be happening at this location. Two-year programs in Art Direction, Copywriting, Digital Design and Photography/Video with opportunities to travel the world studying and interning the whole second year; also three-month boot camps in strategy and social media.
Wishing the best of luck to Pippa and the entire team, as we welcome you to your new home in Wynwood. Myself being a creative, I am beyond moved to have this opportunity so close to us. This is a wonderful doorway for our future endeavors in the industry of all artists. Stay tuned for more details, on the grand opening of Miami Ad School Wynwood.
