STREET ARTIST FROM AROUND THE WORLD COME TO WYNWOOD FOR ART BASEL
Since 2002, Art Basel Miami Beach has brought tens of thousands of art enthusiasts and collectors to this tropical paradise. In the past few years, the crowds have started to spread to areas off “The Beach” to Miami’s flourishing art districts like Wynwood and the Design District. This year, Miami Ad School is working with Wynwood Embassy to showcase some of the most prominent and talented street artists from around the world.
Next week, join us for a group art show at Mana Production Village — 318 NW 23rd Street. We will kick it off Thursday December 5th at 7pm with a “Meet the Artist Gala.” Alex Senna from Brazil, Axel Void from Miami/Spain, Dome from Germany, Kislow from Ukraine and 50+ other artists will be there to show and discuss their work. Art work will also be available for purchase. Throughout Art Basel people can test out the Phase One Camera System in interactive events and a workshop on Saturday hosted by Profoto, Calumet and Phase One. A schedule can be found here.
More scheduling information will be posted through our Facebook page so make sure to check back for details — the artists have been arriving all this week, painting walls in Wynwood and getting ready for the event. We are excited to share this extraordinary gathering of globally renowned street artists and celebrate creativity with music, art and performance.
