The Annex Concept brings unique interior design ethos to Miami Art Fair. Operating from Dec 1st – Dec 8th.
It is furnished with an incredible curated collection of vintage furniture, lighting fixtures and fine objects. The strict design ethos stems from originality, authenticity and a distaste of mass reproductions. The concept is available to replicate anywhere in the USA or worldwide for corporate events, art fairs and private clients. Revolving inventory from international personal collections of reclaimed, recycled, restored, repurposed and architectural salvage.
Eclectic and curated pieces from Eastern Europe and the United States with a utilitarian industrial edge are a mainstay. Salvaged tiles from historical building demolitions are stockpiled for their reincarnation.
Upholstery from small batches of rare fabric including vintage denim and antique French ticking are utilized.
Harivel is also responsible for beautiful interior revival styles such as in the Soho Hotel Group, Ace Hotels and Drake Hotels and private apartments in New York.
Harivel enlisted New Zealand stylist and design consultant Gavin McRae to assist with arrangements and management of this debut operation as a design space/café and lounge.
The Annex café is operated and catered by Morgans restaurant.
Harivel and McRae will be onsite during the Art Fair, continually dressing and styling his location and to field inquiries for his design business.
